2. Location Data & Background Tracking
Bicycle Speedometer is a GPS-based speedometer, odometer, and cycling computer. To function properly, it requires access to your device's location services:
- Precise Location (GPS): Used in real time to calculate speed, moving time, distance, altitude, and grade percent, as well as to plot your cycling route on the live map.
- Background & Foreground Location: When you start recording a ride and lock your phone screen or switch to another app (such as music or maps), location tracking continues via a persistent foreground service notification.
🔒 Zero Remote Tracking: Location tracking runs only when you tap "Start Ride" and halts immediately when you finish. Your GPS coordinates are stored 100% locally on your phone. We never upload, transmit, or sell your location to any remote servers.
3. Fitness & Sensor Data
- Caloric Expenditure (kcal): Calculated locally on device using standard METs physical work formulas based on rider speed, weight, grade, and duration.
- Accelerometer & Motion Sensors: Used for sensor fusion to dynamically measure slope incline (%) and acceleration during cycling.
4. Third-Party Libraries & Advertisements
To provide free access and high-performance vector maps, the App integrates the following trusted third-party providers:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Displays banner and interstitial ads. AdMob may collect anonymous advertising identifiers (GAID), general approximate location, and ad interaction metrics to deliver non-personalized or personalized ads according to your settings. Google Ads Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Services: Powers fused location providers and core integrity verification.
- MapLibre GL Native & OpenStreetMap: Renders vector map tiles. Requests are anonymous and tile-based.

6. Data Ownership & Deletion
You retain full ownership of your data at all times:
- GPX Export: You can export any recorded ride to a standard
.GPXfile at any time via the Ride Analysis screen. - Ride Record Deletion: Any trip log can be permanently deleted with a single tap in the app.
- Complete Data Erasure: Clearing app storage in Android Settings or uninstalling the app permanently purges all local databases.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Bicycle Speedometer is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

2. Quyền vị trí & Theo dõi lộ trình nền
Bicycle Speedometer là ứng dụng đo tốc độ và ghi nhật ký đạp xe GPS. Để hoạt động chính xác, ứng dụng cần các quyền vị trí:
- Vị trí chính xác (GPS): Đo vận tốc thời gian thực, cự ly chuyến đi, độ cao, độ dốc leo đèo và vẽ lộ trình trên bản đồ.
- Vị trí chạy nền (Background Location): Giúp tiếp tục ghi nhận thông số khi tắt màn hình hoặc khi chuyển qua nghe nhạc, nhận cuộc gọi thông qua thông báo Foreground Service.
🔒 Lưu trữ 100% Cục bộ: Định vị chỉ bật khi bạn bấm "Bắt đầu chuyến đi" và dừng ngay khi bấm Kết thúc. Dữ liệu GPS được lưu trên máy của bạn, tuyệt đối không tải lên máy chủ ngoài hay bán cho bên thứ ba.
3. Dữ liệu Thể chất & Cảm biến
- Ước tính Calo (kcal): Tính toán khoa học theo công thức METs dựa trên cân nặng, vận tốc, độ dốc và thời gian đạp xe.
- Cảm biến gia tốc & Nghiêng: Kết hợp cùng GPS để đo độ dốc dốc mặt đường (%) mượt mà và chính xác.
4. Dịch vụ bên thứ ba & Quảng cáo
Ứng dụng tích hợp các thư viện bên thứ ba uy tín:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Hiển thị quảng cáo banner và xen kẽ để duy trì phát triển miễn phí. AdMob có thể sử dụng mã định danh quảng cáo ẩn danh theo Chính sách quảng cáo của Google.
- Google Play Services: Hỗ trợ định vị và kiểm tra cập nhật.
- MapLibre GL & OpenStreetMap: Nạp hình ảnh bản đồ số và vệ tinh.
5. Quyền kiểm soát & Xuất dữ liệu
- Xuất file .GPX: Bạn có thể xuất bất kỳ lộ trình nào ra file chuẩn GPX để chia sẻ hoặc nạp vào Strava, Garmin.
- Xóa chuyến đi: Dễ dàng xóa từng chuyến đi trực tiếp trong màn hình Phân tích chuyến đi.
- Xóa toàn bộ: Xóa dữ liệu ứng dụng trong Cài đặt Android hoặc gỡ cài đặt sẽ xóa sạch mọi thông tin lưu trên máy.
